Packages are containers in which items get delivered to the customer. A package could be a bag, box, or carton - anything that can hold items in it. An item has a dimension and SKU number.
Packages allows a business to have standardized dimensions and weights that can be used across orders.
An order can use pre-defined packages. The weight and dimensions that are defined on a package are leveraged for identifying suitable providers using Orchestration rules.
